Hey Look! It's a New Promo Spot for BUMBLEBEE!
Another day, another trailer for Bumblebee for you to watch. We’ve still got a month to go before this movie is released, but with the amount of marketing we’ve been seeing for it, you’d think it was going to be released next week.
Regardless, I’m already sold on the movie, and I’m excited as hell to see it. It looks like director Travis Knight will deliver the best Transformers film in the franchise. Unfortunately, it probably won’t do well at the box office because Michael Bay ran the franchise into the ground and just kept making bad movies. I’m afraid that people won’t give Bumblebee a chance, but I hope that I’m wrong!
Anyway, enjoy the latest international TV spot that was released!
Here’s the synopsis:
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
It was also revealed that Bumblebee has escaped from Cybertron to Earth and he's being hunted down by a Decepticon jet named Blitzwing.
We also learned that two other Decepticon villains, Shatter and Dropkick, who are voiced by Angela Basset and Justin Theroux, are also hunting Bumblebee, and they team up with the U.S. military to try to catch him, which is where John Cena comes in. These characters are triple-changer transformers! They turn into muscle cars, as well as a Harrier jet and helicopter.
Bumblebee opens December 21, 2018.
