Hey Sony! It's Time To Make an AGENT VENOM Movie with Joe Manganiello Reprising His Flash Thompson Role!
With Spider-Man: No Way Home breaking open the Spider-Man multiverse and reintroducing characters from the earlier Spider-Man films that have been made like Doc Ock and Green Goblin, Sony Pictures now has the opportunity to do a lot of cool stuff!
Hey Sony, I know you have executives that read our website, I’ve seen all of the email leaks. So, I just wanted to pitch a Marvel movie idea that I think a lot of fans would love to see!
With the multiverse being blown open, you now have the opportunity to make an Agent Venom movie! Not just any Agent Venom, though. You Can bring back Joe Manganiello to reprise his role as Flash Thompson, and he could be your Agent Venom!
Manganiello played Flash in Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man movie, and enough time has passed to where he would be at the perfect age and place to play the role!
As you know Flash attended the same high school as Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man. He frequently bullied Peter but was actually one of Spider-Man's biggest fans. In the comics, Flash was physically abused by his alcoholic father, leading to Flash's own violent, bullying nature.
After he was finished with school, Flash joined the army where he lost both of his legs. As he is haunted by his war experiences, he turns to the bottle to numb the pain of what he’s going through. He eventually ends up being bound to the Venom symbiote, becoming the Anti-Venom superhero Agent Venom.
Flash Tompson and his turn into Agent Venom is actually, at its core, an incredible, deep, and emotional story. Then you’ve got all of the awesome action stuff that you can through in. But, this could seriously make for an awesome film that I think a lot of fans would love to see!
So, that’s my pitch! Sony has got to make this movie!
