High School Reboot of GOOD CHRISTIAN BITCHES Adaptation Coming to The CW

The CW is bringing a high school-set adaptation entitled Good Christian Bitches to their network, based on the semi-autobiographical book by Kim Gatlin.

The series will be about the drama surrounding a Christian high school. The story was previously a short-lived series at ABC under the title GCB and took place amongst an affluent group of Dallas socialites. This new take on the story is being described as “Clueless set in a Christian high school in tone.” Here’s the full description of the series, via Deadline:

At a prestigious private Christian high school in Dallas, a war stoking the student body’s social divides erupts when the new girl on campus, the atheist daughter of a minister, inadvertently tangles with three good Christian girls who blame her for ruining their lives.

This sounds like it could be similar to the movie Saved!, which is a favorite of mine, so I will check it out. Does this sound like a series you’d be interested in?
