Hilarious Trailer for Pandemic Road Trip Comedy STOP AND GO
A new trailer has been released for the hilarious road trip comedy Stop and Go, about two sisters who go on a trip to bust their grandma out of her nursing home when the pandemic starts raging. The movie, which premiered earlier this year at SXSW, was directed by Mallory Everton and Stephen Meek from a script written by Everton and Whitney Call, who also star as the two sisters, Blake and Jamie. The pair also have starred in and written for the comedy series Studio C.
The film was previously known as Recovery, and here’s the full synopsis:
Sisters Blake and Jamie's big plans come to a screeching halt when they're forced to rescue their grandmother and her beloved dog from a nursing home. They soon embark on a cross-country race against time while contending with a deranged dog breeder, a highly inappropriate 9-year-old, and a clueless Romeo.
Some people may be tired of pandemic-set content, but this just looks so dang funny. I love a good comedy, and I’m down to watch this one. Stop and Go hits theaters and VOD on October 1, 2021. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
