Hilary Swank Has Signed on to Star in Political Action Thriller THE HUNT

Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank (Boys Don’t Cry, Million Dollar Baby) has signed on to star in the upcoming political action-thriller The Hunt. Swank joins the previously cast Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project), Betty Gilpin (GLOW), Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers), Justin Hartley (This is Us), and Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

The plot is being kept under wraps, and the film has a current release date of September 27, but I would be surprised if it came out that soon as that’s only two and a half months away and they just cast the star of the film. We will see what happens, but I am definitely on board with a cast like this. The film is being made by Universal and Blumhouse, and screenwriters Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse. Craig Zobel is directing.
