Hillary Clinton Series RODHAM Starring Claire Danes and Dakota Fanning Looking for New Streamer After Hulu Passes on Adaptation

The Hillary Clinton story series Rodham is looking for a new home after Hulu passed on it. The show will follow the best-selling 2020 book by Curtis Sittenfeld, which “imagined an alternative universe in which Hillary Rodham Clinton met and dated Bill Clinton at Yale Law School, but never married him. Instead of the life Clinton has actually led, in Rodham, she goes on to thrive as a Northwestern University professor, and launches an eventual presidential run in 2016. Real-world events — such as rape accusations against Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump as a significant figure in politics — also play out in Sittenfeld’s novel, but in vastly altered ways.”

The series stars Claire Danes and Dakota Fanning, who are attached to play Clinton at different stages of her life. The project is now being shopped to other streamers. With the talent attached, I doubt it will have trouble landing in a new place for fans to watch and enjoy.
