Honest Trailer for A STAR IS BORN – A Ripoff of a Ripoff of a Remake of a Remake

Screen Junkies went for a quick hit on A Star Is Born in their Honest Trailer for all the Best Picture nominees, but there is more than one minute of material when it comes to making fun of A Star Is Born, so they’ve now dropped a full Honest Trailer focusing just on the remake of a remake of a remake (of a remake if you count What Price Hollywood? as the original).

They also accuse it of ripping off Crazy Heart, which is way harsh, Tai. I super duper loved this movie, and I cried and cried and cried when I watched it, and also all of these criticisms are totally fair, but I wish they would do an Honest Trailer of the whole “Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper pretend to be in love for their awards season publicity push” thing, because that was ridiculous. The nuzzling during the Oscars? Absurd.

I also hope they at some point release an unbleeped supercut of Sam Elliott saying the F word, because he is a delight.
