Honest Trailer For SCREAM - Without Twitter, Movie Dorks Had To Get Creative When It Came To Harassing Women
Screen Junkies has released a new episode of Honest Trailers and since it’s the Halloween season, this one puts the focus on Wes Craven’s meta horror movie classic Scream.
“Return to a simpler time when people left all of their doors unlocked, no one had cell phones, true crime podcasts were books, and without Twitter, movie dorks had to get creative when it came to harassing women.”
Scream is one of my favorite modern horror movie franchises. I loved the series of films and I’m looking forward to the fifth one that’s currently in development. While the Honest Trailer does make some great jokes about the first film in the franchise, it also recognizes that it rescued a genre that was drowning in bad sequels and remakes.
