With Spider-Man: Homecoming being released this week, Screen Junkies have released their Honest Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It serves as a reminder as to why Marvel wanted to get their hands on the franchise to do it right.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actually had some decent moments and Andrew Garfield gave a pretty decent performance. Unfortunately, the story was terrible and the plot lines were all over the place. This Honest Trailer does a great job of breaking down all of the things that made the film crash and burn.

I will say, the best thing that came out of this movie is that it led to Marvel and Sony making a deal to work on Spider-Man together, which led to Spider-Man's inclusion in the MCU and Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was an awesome movie!
