Honest Trailers Takes on THE BREAKFAST CLUB in Funny New Video

All right, degenerates, grab your notebooks because detention is back in session. The team behind Honest Trailers has finally turned its sharp sense of humor on the 1985 John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club, and it’s prettty funny.

The video breaks down the five iconic teenage stereotypes trapped in a high school library: the rich girl, the jock, the nerd, the outcast, and of course the walking red flag in a trench coat. It calls out all the teen angst, the unforgettable soundtrack, and that legendary slow-motion fist pump that made the movie an ’80s staple.

Screen Junkies also dropped a note with the video: “All right you snot-nosed little ingrates, it’s detention time, and we’re watching the Honest Trailer for The Breakfast Club on repeat!

“Enjoy being locked in the library all day with 5 teenage stereotypes complaining about being stereotyped! Yeah it’s a little dated, but just be glad John Hughes didn’t write it today or it’d be 90 minutes of them slack-jawed scrolling on their phones.”

If you’re a fan of the movie, or just love seeing classics roasted in the best way possible, this one is worth a watch.
