HOOPS Comic-Con@Home Panel With Sneak Peak Look at First Episode
We’ve got the Comic-Con@Home panel for you to check out for the upcoming adult animated comedy, Hoops, that is headed to Netflix next month. The panel starts off with a look at the first episode of the series that gives you all the flavor of what the series is looking to do. Jake Johnson (New Girl, Stumptown) stars as a hot-headed high school basketball coach who gets so vulgar and obscene at the refs during a game, that he gets kicked out. This seems to be a regular occurrence for the character, and lets us know what we can expect from him in the show.
The series also stars Ron Funches (Trolls, Harley Quinn), Cleo King (Deadwood, Mike and Molly), Natasha Leggero (Another Period, Broke), A.D. Miles (Wet Hot American Summer, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon), and Rob Riggle (21 Jump Street, Modern Family), and was created by Ben Hoffman, who co-wrote the series with Annabel Seymour and Mike Gibbons.
Check out the panel below, and watch Hoops on Netflix on August 21st.
