HORIZON ZERO DAWN COMPLETE EDITION is Coming to PC This Summer

Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the biggest reasons I wanted a PS4. Now, the game is coming to PC and I cannot wait. Hermen Hulst confirmed the news in a Q&A with PlayStation.Blog:

Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon.

There you have it, the highly praised game is going to no longer be a PS4 exclusive and that means I can finally play it without buying a PS4. In fact, the game already has a listing on Steam, so you can add it to your wishlist. I know many of us are waiting with bated breath to find out more details from Guerrilla, but we can be a little patient, right? Also, if you’re hoping that this means PlayStation games are all coming to PC, don’t get them too high. Hulst also said:

Sure. I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on.

And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC. In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will launch on PC in Summer 2020.
