HORIZON ZERO DAWN Is Hitting Comic Stores This Summer
Horizon Zero Dawn is a wildly popular game for the PS4 from Guerrilla, and it looks like now the story is being continued in comic form. Guerrilla has teamed with Titan Comics to bring the story to comic book stores everywhere this summer. Horizon Zero Dawn is being written by Anne Toole, one of the writers for the game, and illustrated by Ann Maulina with the first issue featuring a cover by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau.
Titan’s new comic book series – co-created by Anne Toole, one of the writers of Horizon Zero Dawn, with artwork by fan-favorite artist Ann Maulina – takes place after the events of the game as Talanah, a strong and determined hunter, struggles to find purpose after her trusted friend Aloy disappears. When a mysterious threat emerges in the wilds, she sets out to hunt and to defeat it, only to learn that a whole new breed of killer machines stalk the land!
Horizon Zero Dawn #1 will be available on July 22 at local comic stores or online through comiXology. If you can’t wait, a one-shot prequel will be available as part of Free Comic Book Day, May 2.
