Hot Toys Reveals New Battle Damaged Spider-Man 1/6 Figure From SPIDER-MAN (2002)
A new year is officially underway, and Hot Toys isn’t wasting any time kicking things off in a big way. The high-end collectible studio has unveiled a new 1/6 scale Spider-Man figure, and it’s one fans of Sam Raimi’s original film are going to want to keep an eye on.
The newly revealed Battle Damaged Spider-Man pulls directly from the emotional final moments of Spider-Man (2002), capturing Peter Parker at his absolute breaking point.
Long before shared universes ruled the box office, Raimi’s film proved superhero movies could deliver spectacle while still grounding the story in emotion and consequence.
The movie introduced audiences to a painfully human Peter Parker, played by Tobey Maguire, whose sense of responsibility outweighed the punishment his body could take. Hot Toys clearly understands why that finale still resonates, and this figure zeroes in on the climactic fight with the Green Goblin.
The Battle Damaged Spider-Man figure reflects that punishment in stunning detail. The suit features torn fabric, scuffed textures, and layered paint applications that sell the damage without overdoing it.
The figure includes both a newly developed masked head and a battle-damaged head sculpt that exposes Peter’s exhausted face beneath the torn mask, complete with a shattered lens. The likeness to Maguire is strong, and the expression captures the fatigue and resolve that defined the character in that final showdown.
Accessories round out the package nicely. Collectors will get multiple web effects, interchangeable hands for dynamic posing, and a themed display base inspired by the film. The base includes a crashed Green Goblin glider and his discarded mask, recreating the aftermath of the battle in a way that feels dramatic without stealing focus from Spider-Man himself. It’s the kind of setup that makes posing and display feel purposeful instead of cluttered.
