Josh Peck is Set To Star in Disney+'s TURNER AND HOOCH Series

Disney+ has a new series headed to the streamer called Turner and Hooch, based on the 1989 film of the same name that starred Tom Hanks as a detective who begrudgingly teams up with a gigantic dog to help him in the hunt for a killer.

This new hour-long series will star Josh Peck (Drake & Josh, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Scott Turner, who Variety describes as “an ambitious, buttoned-up U.S. Marshall who inherits a big unruly dog. He soon realizes the pet he didn’t want may be the partner he needs.”

The series is being written and executive produced by Matt Nix (Burn Notice), and has received a 12-episode order. This sounds like a good series for the streamer, as it could end up being a good family show. I don’t know that I’ve seen Peck in anything, but hopefully, he has the same charm as Hanks in the original.

Is this a series you’d like to watch?
