Housekeeping Unit R9-D9 Is Absolutely the Droid You Are Looking For
Have you ever thought that cleaning your house would be a lot more fun if you had a trusty droid sidekick to help out? Of course you have! And we have just the droid you’re looking for with R9-D9. Star Wars fan Matthew Scott Hunter realized that he could make his own functional vacuum Artoo unit at home with the vacuums he owned and household materials.
He was inspired by a trash can that already had the shape and look of a droid unit that he had in his garage. He used stiff cardboard to craft the legs, household items to add texture and details, and executed a beautiful paint job to round out the project.
