The Exciting Way That AVENGERS: ENDGAME Sets Up GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
With the Guardians of the Galaxy being two of my favorite films in the MCU, I was looking forward to seeing if and how Avengers: Endgame would set the story up for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Well, it totally did and I love the direction that it seems like it’s going to go!
With Gamora coming into the story from the past, she has no idea who the hell Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord is. While Peter was extremely happy to see her, she ended up kneeing him in the balls after he invaded her space and touched her face.
Gamora was not present with the rest of the Guardians team at Tony Stark’s funeral and in the last scene involving the Guardians, Peter was having the ship computer searching for her. So, I imagine that one of the plot points of Guardians Vol. 3 will focus on Peter finding Gamora and trying to rebuild a relationship with her.
One of my favorite aspects of the next Guardians adventure is that freakin’ Thor is going to be tagging along with them! The dynamic between Thor and Peter is great, there’s a lot of fun aspects about their relationship that can be played with and that could be extremely fun. In fact, Thor joining the Guardians is one of the most exciting aspects of what is to come! Especially with the relationship that the God of Thunder has already built with Rocket and Groot.
I have no idea what the main story will entail for Guardians Vol. 3, but I was very pleased with the fact that we got a little tease from Endgame on what we might be able to expect in the future from these characters.
