How Long Does Bruce Campbell Want to Continue in His Role as Ash?

While speaking to a roundtable of reporters at San Diego Comic-Con for the Starz series Ash Vs. Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell discussed his commitment to playing the role of Ash Williams from The Evil Dead franchise. Here is what he had to say:

"I'm happy to take Ash to the end now. I'll do it. You know, every actor goes through the denial phase of 'Look, I've done a lot of other projects and blah-blah-blah.' You want Ash? I'm gonna choke you on him. You'll get more Ash than you've ever wanted in your life."

Fantastic! During the interview, the possibility of a third season was brought up and this is what he had to say about it:

"We've been talking a lot about it. Cause see, we gotta plan ahead. The writers room will be back up in September. So yeah, we're talking about it already. We want Seasons 3 and 4 from Starz."

The “WE” that he is referring to is Executive Producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert as well as himself. The prospect of future gore-filled awesomeness makes me happy on the inside. I hope that they can get a third and fourth season of the show. What do you think? Is it worth it?

Thanks to Cinemablend for the heads up on this interview.
