How To Build Your Own Awesome Wearable Robot Costume
Here a cool video for you to watch that shows you the process of building an awesome wearable robot costume. This is super impressive work! I wish I had the talent, skills, and patience to build something like this, but I just don’t.
The robot costume was built by artist XiaoQianFeng. She created it for her brother using wire mesh, paper mache, cardboard, wood, and ceramic tile. The creator said in a statement:
This wearable Robot was a birthday gift that I made for my brother. I had to wait for him to come back from vacation to try it on, and it was too heavy for me to move around in it. Most of the time I was cutting and grinding, and if the cardboard parts didn't fit, I had to redraw and cut them again. I used cardboard to make the robot and weapon, but it was very heavy to wear and carry.
