Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart Receive Guinness World Record For Longest Careers as Marvel Movie Heroes
While Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Patrick Stewart (Professor X) have both retired from the Marvel character roles, they played their characters long enough to earn a place in the Guinness World Records for having the longest career as live-action Marvel superheroes.
Both of the actors appeared in the first X-Men film in 2000 and the last film they made was Logan in 2017. Their time in the X-Men franchise as Wolverine and Charles Xavier has spanned 16 years and 228 days.
Guinness World Records announced the new record and presented Jackman and Stewart with awards for their time as the superhero characters on The Morning show. You can watch the video below, and as you’ll see Jackman is quite giddy about the whole thing. Patrick Stewart even joins in via video conference. Check it out!
