Hugh Jackman Says We'll See Something From WOLVERINE 3 Within a Week and Talks About The Film's Different Tone

Wolverine 3 is sneaking up on us. The film is set to arrive in theaters in less than six months, but we haven't seen an official poster, trailer, or really any promotion beyond some chatter from the actors and James Mangold. The director recently promised that fans would "hear and see things very soon," and now star Hugh Jackman has narrowed that window considerably: he told ET (via THR) it'll only be a week or so before we get our first real look at the movie.

"We've finished shooting. I just saw [director] Jim Mangold today. He's editing away and finishing that. There's going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That's all I'll say. I'm not good. I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically it's going to be different. Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we've done."

At this point, it's all but confirmed that this movie will be a riff on the Old Man Logan comic book run, and there's been a lot of talk about how it's going to be rated R. There have been tons of rumors and pieces of speculation thrown out into the blogosphere over the past year or so, and we've touched on most of them here if you want to hear more about what might be happening with the project.

Wolverine 3 hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
