Hulu Announces New Thriller FALSE POSITIVE Starring Ilana Glazer and Justin Theroux

Hulu recently announced a new film called False Positive. The film comes from the partnership between Hulu and A24 and will be a Hulu Original Film released in 2021. Ilana Glazer (Broad City) and Justin Theroux (Lady and the Tramp) star in this thriller film about a couple struggling to become pregnant. Other stars of the film include Gretchen Mol, Sophia Bush, Josh Hamilton, and Pierce Brosnan. The film is directed by John Lee, who is co-creator with Alissa Nutting and co-wrote the screenplay with Glazer. Glazer and Lee are also producing the film with Jonathan Wang.

After several attempts of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Glazer) and Adrian (Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle's gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren't complicated enough…

False Positive doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is set to release next year.
