Hulu Lands The Exclusive U.S. Streaming Rights To PARASITE

Hulu managed to land the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to Best Picture Oscar winner Parasite, from director Bong Joon-Ho. The movie made Oscar history when it became the first foreign-language film to win the Best Picture Oscar award.

This is a movie that is best seen on the big screen, but for those of you who have been waiting to watch it on a streaming service, it will be coming to Hulu on April 8th, so you won’t have to wait much longer.

Parasite was one of my favorite films of the year and I was so happy to see it win all the awards that it has won at the various award shows. Those awards are very much deserved.

The film deals with issues of greed and class discrimination and it tells the story of a poor family who, one by one, infiltrate the domestic lives of a wealthy family. The story ends up taking a very dark and surprising turn.

Parasite is also still looking to cash in on the theatrical side of things as they are re-releasing it in several different markets and it will also be getting a special IMAX release.
