Hulu Officially Orders The VERONICA MARS Revival Series and Story Details Have Been Revealed
Hulu has officially ordered that Veronica Mars revival series that was reported on about a month ago! Kristen Bell will reprise her role as the title character and the limited series will consist of 8 episodes. Bell made the announcement herself on Instagram and she also revealed that all of the old Veronica Mars episodes will be available to watch on Hulu in the summer of 2019! This is great news! I’m a big fan of Veronica Mars and I’m super excited that the show will return! We have some additional details on the story that the new installment will tell below the video:
According to Variety, the next chapter of Veronica Mars story will revolve around spring breakers who are being murdered in Neptune, “thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into a mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”
That sounds like it’s going to be crazy new adventure for Veronica. Original series creator Rob Thomas will executive produce the series and write the first episode. With Thomas and Bell on board and steering the series, you can bet that fans are going to get another great season!
