Hulu Renews Series PARADISE for Third Season; Sterling K. Brown Says It Will Wrap Up the Story
Hulu has announced that they have renewed the series Paradise for a third season at the streamer. The news comes ahead of the Season 2 finale on March 30.
While Hulu has not commented on the finality of this third season, star Sterling K. Brown did say on an interview with Dax and Monica on the podcast Armchair Expert that the show was planned by creator Dan Fogelman (This is Us) for a three season story arc, so it sounds like this renewal may be the show’s last.
The post-apocalyptic political thriller stars Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Enuka Okuma, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty and Jon Beavers.
In season 2, after finding out survivors — including his wife, Teri (Enuka Okuma) — remain in the outside world in the Season 1 finale, Xavier (Brown) embarks on a quest to find her, journeying out from the Paradise bunker for the first time since the planet’s destruction.
While he searches for her, he encounters bands of survivors and learns how they survived the three years since catastrophe struck Earth. Back in Colorado, tensions continue rising to the surface as the community grapples with broken trust and newly unveiled secrets.
Paradise seasons 1-2 are available to watch on Hulu, with the season 2 finale airing on March 30th.
