Hulu Set To Bring Horror Comedy WRECK To American Audiences

Fremantle’s UK series Wreck, which premiered on BBC in October 2022, is heading to Hulu on March 1, 2023. The horror comedy is set aboard the MS Sacramentum cruise ship and follows 19 year old new recruit Jamie as he searches for his missing sister. She was working aboard the ship on a previous tour and vanished mid charter. The job won’t be easy though as he has to infiltrate the 1000 strong crew and navigate the tribes within the staff: the theater kids, the mafias, and the low paid workers. If that wasn’t hard enough, there’s also a killer on the loose dressed in a duck costume that would be considered unsettling under the best of circumstances.

The show stars Oscar Kennedy, Thaddea Graham, Jack Rowan, Harriet Webb, Jodie Tyack, Louis Boyer, Anthony Rickman, Amber Grappy, Diego Andrews, Peter Claffey, Miya Ocego, Warren James Dunning, Ramanique Ahluwalia, and Alice Nokes. It looks like creator and writer Ryan J. Brown has made a wild ride and hopefully will lean more towards Scream than a CW drama. Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think, will you be watching in March?
