Hulu's Holiday Horror Anthology Series INTO THE DARK Looks Great! Watch The New Teaser Trailer

Hulu has teamed up with Blumhouse Pictures to produce a 12-part holiday horror anthology series called Into the Dark. Today we have a great teaser trailer to share with you that shows some of the horror that awaits. Each episode of the series will be set during a certain holiday and the horror will all begin with Halloween.

Blumhouse founder Jason Blum previously reveled that each episode in the series will be the length of a feature film and each one will be helmed by a different filmmaker along with a different cast. As for the content of the episodes:

The series starts with "The Body," about a hitman who uses social media to make his latest conquest extra special, followed by November’s "Flesh & Blood," which focuses on a teenager with agoraphobia who thinks her dad is a killer. Blum also teased episodes around a pageant winner on New Year’s Day and an overprotective mom for Mother’s Day. He said no holiday is off limits. Not even Easter.

The Body was co-written by Paul Davis and Paul Fisher, and directed by Davis. It follows a “ sophisticated, overconfident hitman who always carries out his work in style.” It stars Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Aurora Perrineau, David Hull, and Ray Santiago

Patrick Lussier directed the second episode, Flesh and Blood, from a script written by Louis Ackerman. That one is set during Thanksgiving and stars Dermot Mulroney, Dana Silvers, and Tembi Locke.

Into the Dark will premiere on Hulu on October 5, 2018.

The year of fear begins Oct. 5. 12 months. 12 tales. ABOUT INTO THE DARK In partnership with Blumhouse Television, Into The Dark is a horror event series from prolific, award-winning producer, Jason Blum's independent TV studio.
