Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson Looking to Join Director Kathryn Bigelow‘s Netflix Film Project

Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson are looking to join the next film project from Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), which is set up at Netflix.

There aren’t a lot of details for this project, but it will be “set at the White House as a national crisis unfolds.” Beyond that, we have no idea what to expect, but I’m curious to see what Bigelow has planned.

This will be Bigelow’s first feature film project since the 2017 police brutality period film Detroit, which was produced and distributed by Annapurna Pictures.

Bigelow was previously developing another project for Netflix, but it never got off the ground. That film was an adaptation of the novel Aurora from David Koepp.

Regardless of what this project ends up being, Elba and Ferguson are talented actors they will work great together!
