If Mario Ran on Unreal Engine 4

I'm sure many of you, much like myself, lie in bed wondering what life would be like if Nintendo released a game that pushed the limit of their system so hard it would cause WiiUs all over the galaxy to burst into flames simultaneously. Well, one man dared to try and make that dream a reality. All right, I'm possibly being a little over-dramatic, but one YouTuber by the username aryoksini built a tech-demo in the Unreal Engine using everyone's favorite adventuring plumber. He combined pre-made assets available on the Unreal marketplace and put in recreations of classic Mario 64 moves he animated by hand. The result makes you wish that we could see a Mario, or more importantly a Zelda or Metroid title, that is even half as gorgeous!

Here is Mario running in Unreal Engine 4, all the environment assets were taken from the Unreal marketplace, all the character actions were scripted using blueprints only, all animations were re-created from scratch as well as the PBR ready textures.
