If You Hope to See More VERONICA MARS Kristen Bell Says "It's Going To Happen"

Just the other day I was having a conversation with my wife about Veronica Mars and if we would see the character return for another movie or series. I'm a huge fan of the franchise and I'd love to see the character's story continue. According to Kristen Bell, one day it will happen.

Everyone involved with the series and film are determined to make it happen to make their cult fan base happy. They love these characters just as much as we do!

The fan base was so rabid for more Veronic Mars that they came through and helped fund the movie that was released in 2014 through Kickstarter. They managed to get $5,702,153 from the fans! That's pretty incredible.

Actor Ryan Hanson, who plays Dick Casablancas on the series, was recently promoting his upcoming YouTube Red series called Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television in an interview with Indiewire. During that conversation, Hanson called up Kristen Bell, so that she could confirm that she was still pursuing a way to continue the Veronica Mars series. She said:

“We are willing to put the effort in. I mean, if I have to do it as Murder She Wrote at 80, we’re going to do it. It’s going to happen.”

She's pretty confident in her statement and I hope she's right! She goes on to say that when they do something again, they won't make a movie, and they won't make the fans pay for it again.

“[Series creator] Rob [Thomas] and I email about it every couple of months or so… And personally I think, and I think Rob probably agrees, is that (a) we’ll never make the fans pay for it again, and (b) the format works better as an episodic [series].”

This next time around they would want to do it as a mini-series, which I think would be perfect! Who knows when or if this will ever come together, but as a fan of the series, I hope it eventually happens.

They should go talk to Netflix! If they are willing to do a series like Fuller House, why the hell wouldn't they want to do a Veronica Mars revival!?
