IMAX Poster Art For STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI and Rian Johnson Has a "No Fly" List of Spoilers Never To Be Revealed

For those of you who plan on seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi in IMAX, this is a poster print that you will receive at those screenings at AMC theaters. The art was created by artist Dan Mumford and this is the first in the series of four posters that will be released.

There seems to be a lot of Star Wars fans avoiding everything they can for The Last Jedi because they don't want anything spoiled for them. The thing is, Director Rian Johnson WILL NOT allow certain plot elements of the film to be spoiled.

In the new trailer for the film, it seemed there were a lot of big reveals, but in reality that's all probably just clever editing to throw us off the scent of what is really happening in the story.

During a recent interview with Yahoo, Johnson assured fans that there are no spoilers in the trailer and that there will be no spoilers revealed until the movie comes out. He explains that he came up with a "no fly list of things" that will not be shown:

"A year ago, maybe even more than that, my producer Ram [Bergman] and I sat down with the folks at Lucasfilm and said, 'OK, this is what we’re going to reveal here and there, and this stuff we’re never going to reveal until the movie comes out.' We came up with a 'no-fly list' of, under no circumstances is this shown or that shown."

He goes on to say:

“It is a fascinating process. It’s something that for me, just having been a fan my whole life, suddenly being behind the curtain and seeing how it works and seeing how deliberate it is, has been really fascinating.”

So, you don't need to worry about anything big being spoiled. Watch everything and anything you want from The Last Jedi and when you see the movie, the way it all plays out is still going to be a huge surprise!

Johnson originally was torn about recomnding fans to watch the trailer, but shortly after the trailer was released Johnson Tweeted:

So if you haven't watched it yet... it wouldn't hurt to watch it, right? He wants you to watch it! Sorry to tempt you, but that trailer really is freakin' awesome.
