Imogen Poots is a Irish Revolutionary in Trailer For The True Story Thriller BALTIMORE

Icon Film UK has released a trailer for a new Irish political thriller titled Baltimore. The movie is based on the true story of Rose Dugdale, a former English debutante who rebelled against her wealthy upbringing, becoming a volunteer in the militant Irish republican group.

Imogen Poots takes on the role of the Irish revolutionary, and the synopsis reads: “Based on the infamous true story of the English heiress who became an Irish revolutionary. Debutante Rose Dugdale enjoys a life of wealth and privilege, but her rebellious nature soon leads her down a militant path. Amongst the political turmoil of the 1970s, her sympathy towards the IRA's conflict evolves into radicalisation, culminating in an armed raid on an Irish estate along with three comrades. When her simple heist turns violent, is Rose ready to face the devastating consequences?”

The movie was written and directed by Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy(Mister John, Rose Plays Julie, Further Beyond, and The Future Tense). It also stars Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Lewis Brophy, Jack Meade, Patrick Martins, Dermot Crowley, Andrea Irvine, John Kavanagh.

Icon Film and Eclipse Pictures will release Baltimore in UK and Irish theaters on March 22nd, 2024. There’s no US release date.
