Impressive Action Short Film STRINGS Has An Ending You Won't See Coming
Jimmy Loweree's short film Strings is a nice example of a very effective use of the medium. It tells a story succinctly and doesn't over-explain things or come off as trying too hard. The crisp, clean cinematography and slick fight choreography highlight a cool concept that left me wanting more...in a good way.
Strings is an intense short film about a captive woman who is kept sedated for a very good reason. She is extremely valuable, and the battle to free her will determine her fate.
Shot in two days in Los Angeles, it was a test to see how ambitious the team could be with limited resources.
Even if you tried to guess it beforehand, I'd wager you still won't see this ending coming.
A woman is kept sedated by a cold-blooded kidnapper, but her free will is something worth fighting for.
