Incredible Behind-the-Scenes Featurette For MICHAEL Includes Interviews With Director Antoine Fuqua and Star Jaafar Jackson
Lionsgate has released a great behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, starring Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, as his late uncle, the King of Pop.
The promo features interviews with the star, as well as the film’s director, Antoine Fuqua, and producer Graham King. They each dive into the pressure of making a film about someone so well-known, and so talented. The casting and portrayal had to be just right.
Jackson is joined by talented co-stars Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Kat Graham, Larenz Tate, Derek Luke, Jessica Sula, Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo.
The trailers that have been released for the film so far have been great, but this video is cool because it gives us a peek behind the curtain at the making of some of the most iconic MJ moments, like the “Thriller” music video, the first Moonwalk performance, and so much more.
