Incredible Sci-Fi Thriller Short - IMMERSION

One of our readers sent us this stunning sci-fi short film that you've got to watch called Immersion. It was written and directed by Raphael Rogers, and it has such a cool and unique concept that I think would make for a really great feature film. The story centers around a virtual gaming platform called "Immersion," and this is the synopsis:

Immersion has taken the world by storm. Initially created as a virtual gaming platform more enticing than reality, its simulations have become so convincing that criminals are now being treated as patients inside virtual reality. Pairing the worlds of Immersion with nanotechnology has unlocked the key to modifying brain behavior. We can now cure a murderer, heal an addict. But change can happen both ways.

There's a much bigger story here than what we are shown in this trailer. The second have of the film speeds through a lot of stuff that could be part of a much bigger story. This is a pretty ambitious project, and I think Rogers has something here that has the potential to be something great. I just don't think seven minutes was enough time to tell his story properly, but it gives you an idea of what the movie is capable of.
