Incredibly Awesome Sci-Fi Fantasy Short Film APOCALYPSE NOW NOW
I've got an incredibly must watch sci-fi fantasy short film for you to watch today called Apocalypse Now Now! This is a proof-of-concept short that is based on the South African fantasy novel and it turned out impressive as hell!
The story centers on Meet Baxter, the kingpin of a smut-peddling high school who’s dating the girl of his dreams. After she’s kidnapped and he's accused of murdering her, he and a supernatural bounty hunter dive into the deep, dark Cape Town underworld full of monsters and myth to save her.
It was announced back in 2015 that the book would be adapted into a film, but as far as I know, nothing ever happened with it. After watching this short film, though, I would love to see it adapted into a feature film!
The short was directed by Michael Matthews and he did an awesome job bringing this story to life. I think you're really going to enjoy this, so check it out!
