Incredibly Cool Custom Geek Dresses For Batgirl and Wonder Woman

We’ve featured several custom-made dresses created by Catherine Elhoffer in the past, but this latest set that she’s created is especially impressive. The dresses are inspired by Batgirl and Wonder Woman and they are pretty damn cool — especially that Batgirl dress. I’ve also included a few other dresses that she’s made recently. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee This is like the only sound I can make cause I'm so excited to send this up to @maidofmight!! I saw a recent cosplay she did of #Batgirl and just had to turn it into a cute dress! And, full disclosure, I don't know shit about DC universe, so apparently this is #StephanieBrown? Totally thought it was #barbragordon oops! ;) doesn't matter, the colors are life. I used my athletic wear black scuba, a textured purple spandex, and a yellow solid spandex to recreate the color blocking of her costume. The bat logo is appliquéd onto the bust with wonder under and a nice zig zag stitch! The hood has bat ears sewn to it. And this pattern has 40 pieces. Ok. It's only been like 18 hours and now this dress is my favorite. I've had a #WonderWoman concept in my head for a while now, thanks to @scruffyrebel! But I finally made time to make it. And I was going to post it last night but y'all were so happy with batgirl that I didn't want this to be overshadowed!! (There are two sewing flaws along the front center of this piece, but that's why I like sewing sample pieces before making more! :D) Side pockets - ✔️ Hi-low skirt - ✔️ Gold eagle - ✔️ Textured Navy Liverpool Fabric - ✔️ Antique Gold Stretch Vinyl details - ✔️ (If you want to commission this piece from me, I can do it with this cross strap, or with actual normal shoulder straps, or with no straps!
