Inde Navarrette (Superman & Lois, Obsession) recently landed the role of Rogue in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie, and now is has signed on to star in and executive produce The Waffle House Index, for Apple Original Films.

Plan B is producing, with Louis Paxton (The Incomer) attached to direct. Andrew Nunnelly penned the script, which landed on the 2025 Black List.

Full plot details are under wraps, but the Black List logline noted that The Waffle House Index is a metric used by FEMA to measure the severity of a natural disaster, and in the story, Jane works the graveyard shift at her local Waffle House with a storm coming.
