INDIANA JONES 5 To Hit Theaters in 2022 and It Will Conclude the Film Series

With the movie slate for 2022 growing to unimaginable proportions, why not add Dr. Jones to the mix.

During the Disney investors presentation, Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy announced that the long awaited fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series is going to be the last film in the franchise.

We recently reported that franchise producer Frank Marshall spoke about the film, saying they are working on the script. He also guaranteed that there will only be one Indiana Jones, and that will be Harrison Ford. He assured that with Logan and Ford v Ferrari writer/director James Mangold in the director’s chair, he knows that the characters and storytelling will be solid.

Indiana Jones is currently set to release July 29th, 2022 with Jonathan Kasden writing and Steven Spielberg producing.

I am a huge fan of the Indiana Jones franchise. I can watch any of the movies at any time. This includes Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I imagine that is just a cross-over episode with Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. I have yet to see the link between the two, but I know it is there and I will find it.
