Infinity Awaits in Fantastic First Teaser Trailer for Pixar's LIGHTYEAR
Pixar has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Lightyear, which will tell the origin story of Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this Buzz Lightyear spinoff solo movie, but this first trailer was was awesome, and it kinda brought a tear to my eye. It’s just a beautifully made trailer, and it looks like this is going to be a fantastic film!
Chris Evans stars in the film and will take on the role of Buzz Lightyear. The brief synopsis reads, “To infinity and… The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.”
As you’ll see in the visually stunning trailer, Buzz rockets off into space for a space adventure where he will team up with other space adventurers that I’m looking forward to getting to know. I’m 100% sold on this film! It looks so good!
The movie is being directed by Angus MacLane, co-director on Finding Dory, and director of the shorts Toy Story of Terror and Burn-E. Pixar's Lightyear will hit in theaters starting June 17th, 2022.
