INHUMANS Showrunner Scott Buck Discusses the Tone of the Show and New Photos Released

Inhumans is yet another Marvel project coming to the small screen while also getting an IMAX release. With all these new Marvel projects popping up, many people are wondering what makes this show different than every other show with heroes and villains and powers.

Well, Scott Buck, who is the showrunner of the new Inhumans TV series, has given a pretty good idea of what to expect with this show while also talking about the benefit of IMAX for its big opener.

"It gives us a massive, dramatic opening. It allows us to think bigger; to use visuals you don't normally get on your television screen. We wanted [it to be] strikingly beautiful and unusual
"There will be plenty of humor and fantastic elements, but we're dealing with relatable people in a moment of great crisis: a royal family forced into the position of refugees. They just happen to have superpowers."

This is such a new an interesting take for a hero based show. This is in no way an origin story about how someone gets their powers and learns to use them. They have had their powers all their life, and are now trying to assimilate into a culture and society quite different than what they are used to. Especially considering they are royalty, this is quite the change of circumstances.

Also revealed were a few new images a couple of which feature Black Bolt and Maximus. It seems like there's going to be some tense moments between these two guys. Although they are at each other's throats in the comics, there has always been a leniency that Black Bolt has towards his brother. He lets him get away with SO much. I can't wait to see what Marvel decides to do with this series. It could really be a big step towards something huge.
