Insanely Cool First Trailer For Sony's Animated Spider-Man Film SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE

Holy crap! Sony Pictures just released the first trailer for their animated Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and it looks freakin' rad! The movie was developed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street) and judging from this wild trailer it looks like it's gonna be a blast! 

The trailer doesn't really give us much in regards to the story. It shows us Miles Morales swinging around New York City in his red-and-black Spider-Man suit, and it looks visually stunning! The end of the trailer seems tease an appearance by Peter Parker and drives home the fact that more versions of Spider-Man will play a role in this animated universe. I love that they are bringing Marvel Comics' Spider-Verse world to the big screen! Here's the synopsis that came with the trailer:
