Inspirational Trailer For Disney+ Original Movie OUT OF MY MIND Featuring Phoebe-Rae Taylor, Jennifer Aniston and Luke Kirby
Disney+ has released a great trailer for their upcoming inspirational movie, Out of My Mind, based on the novel by Sharon M. Draper.
The film stars Phoebe-Rae Taylor as Melody, a non-verbal teen girl with cerebral palsy. Jennifer Aniston is Melody's Inner Voice, who we hear from throughout the film, and they are joined by Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Kirby, Judith Light, Michael Chernus, Courtney Taylor, and Emily Mitchell.
The film is directed by Amber Sealey (A Plus D, How to Cheat, No Light & No Land Anywhere, No Man of God) from a screenplay written by Daniel Stiepleman.
The synopsis reads: “Melody Brooks (starring Phoebe-Rae Taylor), a sixth grader with cerebral palsy, has a quick wit and a sharp mind, but because she is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair, she is not given the same opportunities as her classmates.
“When a young educator notices her student's untapped potential and Melody starts to participate in mainstream education, Melody shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.”
