Intense Clip From Netflix's RESIDENT EVIL Series - "The Weskers Cover Their Tracks"

Netflix has released a new clip from its live-action Resident Evil series titled "The Weskers Cover Their Tracks". It features Lance Reddick’s Albert Wesker and his daughters in a terrifying situation and he tells his girls to go along without him. We don’t really know what’s going on here, but the Umbrella Corporation is in meltdown mode and it’s not good.

After his girls leave him, he’s shown messing with the computers in the lab, and then, later on, he puts zombie dog blood on his face.

The story is set 14 years after a worldwide apocalypse caused by a deadly virus in the year 2036, “14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker ((Ella Balinska)) fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father's chilling connections to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie." Jade is the daughter of Albert Wesker.

Showrunner Andrew Dabb previously explained that they took "all the games and shuffled them together" for this series. He also promises “a compelling jigsaw mystery stitched together over two timelines.” One of those timelines is set in 2036, and the other goes back to the year 2022.

It’s also explained that “The all-new series expansion brings the best of the Resident Evil DNA forward – bad-ass heroines, insane creatures (some new/some familiar), a battle for survival and of course, a deep mystery to unravel. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) expands the directions with fresh storytelling, bone-chilling horror and an action-packed spectacle perfect for summer binging.”

The show also stars Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti, and Turlough Convery. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) serves as showrunner/executive producer/writer with Mary Leah Sutton as executive producer/writer.

Resident Evil is set to release on July 14th, 2022.
