The series was created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water) and John Linson, and Sheridan brings his incredible storytelling and character development skills to give us one of the best modern-day westerns that you can enjoy.

The story for the series centers around John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and his family “who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect, the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders, including an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.”
The series stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, and Gil Birmingham. Lost alum Josh Holloway has also joined the new season as Roarke Morris, a hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana concerning the Dutton family.
They also announced that the series will premiere on Sunday, June 21st and that the show will air every Sunday after that.
