Intense New TV Spot for DETROIT with John Boyega

A new TV spot dropped today for the upcoming drama Detroit which is based on a true story. It features John Boyega. Detroit is the latest film by Academy Award-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty). Detroit tells the true story of one of the most terrifying moments during the riots that rocked Detroit in the summer of ’67.

Boyega is just part of an impressive cast including Will Poulter, Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Jason Mitchell, Hannah Murray, Kaitlyn Dever, Jack Reynor, Ben O’Toole, Joseph David Jones, Ephraim Sykes, Leon Thomas III, Nathan Davis Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Malcolm David Kelley, Gbenga Akinnabve, Chris Chalk, Jeremy Strong, Laz Alonzo, Austin Hebert, Miguel Pimentel, Kris Davis, with John Krasinski and Anthony Mackie.

The movie is set for release on August 4th, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the riots.
