Intense Trailer and Poster for Hostage Drama BREAKING Starring John Boyega

An intense trailer and a poster have been released for the hostage drama Breaking, starring John Boyega (The Force Awakens, Attack the Block). He is joined in the cast by Nicole Beharie, Selenis Leyva, Connie Britton, Jeffrey Donovan, Olivia Washington, and Michael Kenneth Williams. The film was directed by Abi Damaris Corbin (Actors Anonymous) from a screenplay co-written by Corbin and Kwame Kwei-Armah.

Here’s the synopsis:

“When Marine Veteran Brian Brown-Easley (John Boyega) is denied support from Veterans Affairs, financially desperate and running out of options, he takes a bank and several of its employees' hostage, setting the stage for a tense confrontation with the police. Based on the true story.”

This looks like a really interesting and captivating story. I like Boyega, and I think this will be a great dramatic role for him to take on. Check out the trailer and poster below, and let us know what you think. Breaking is set to be released on August 26th in US theaters.
