Intense Trailer For a Revenge Western Thriller Set During WWII Titled THE FLOOD
I’ve got a trailer here for a great-looking and interesting new film titled The Flood. The movie is a western thriller set during World War II and it tells the tale of retribution, revenge, redemption and reconciliation. This looks like an intense movie that’s worth checking out! The film is set in Australia and explores the country’s racism towards aboriginals.
Here’s the synopsis:
Set during WWII this is the story of Jarah's (Alexis Lane) coming-of-age in a brutal and lawless land - growing from a sweet child to a strong, independent and ferocious woman taking on Australia’s corrupt and bigoted system one bad guy at a time. In the best tradition of the gunslinging outlaw, when the enigmatic Jarah is pushed to the limit she explodes in a fury of retribution. But for a revenge western there is a surprising series of twists and turns.
The Flood is written and directed by Victoria Wharfe McIntyre, who is making her feature film directorial debut. The film stars Alexis Lane as Jarah Banganha, along with Shaka Cook, Dean Kyrwood, Dalara Williams, Karen Garnsey, Peter McAllum, Simone Landers, and Aaron Jeffery.
The Flood will be released direct-to-DVD + VOD in January 2021.
