Intense Trailer For Revenge Thriller BARRON'S COVE Starring Garrett Hedlund
An intense new trailer has been released for the revenge thriller Barron’s Cove, starring Garrett Hedlund, Hamish Linklater, Brittany Snow, Christian Convery, Tramell Tillman, Raúl Castillo and Stephen Lang. The film is written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman, in his feature directorial debut.
The synopsis reads: “Barron's Cove follows a father with a violent past (Garett Hedlund) as he grieves the sudden loss of his only child.
“Convinced of a cover-up and intent on obtaining answers about his son’s death, he kidnaps the troubled boy that he holds responsible – the son of a prominent local politician – which ignites a media firestorm and frenzied manhunt.
“But as he grows ever closer to uncovering the truth, he is left to wonder whether his pursuers are really seeking to protect the boy, or merely the secrets he keeps.”
This looks like a movie that is really hard to watch, but intriguing as well. The cast is great, and it looks like a solid story. Check out the trailer below, and watch Barron’s Cove when it’s released in select US theaters and on VOD on June 6th.
