Intense Trailer For The Paranoia Thriller Film OUTPOST
Gravitas Ventures has released an intense trailer for an upcoming indie thriller titled Outpost. The movie centers on a woman who takes a job as a "fire lookout" in the middle of a forest as a way to try and recover from a violent assault that continues to haunt her.
In the film, “After a violent assault, a woman named Kate (Beth Dover) asks her best friend for her help escaping an abusive ex. She’s given a volunteer job as a fire lookout in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping the peaceful solitude will help heal her trauma. But the PTSD and isolation have other plans, and it quickly becomes a fight to save herself – and the nearby town.”
The movie was directed by first-time feature film director Joe Lo Truglio, who is a TV director that helmed an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Outpost also stars Ato Essandoh, Dylan Baker, Becky Ann Baker, Dallas Roberts, Ta'Rea Campbell, Tim Neff, and D.R. Anderson.
This actually looks like a good and intense paranoia thriller and it will be released in theaters and on VOD starting May 19th, 2023.
